New Delhi, Nov. 11: Dr Mohammad Manzoor Alam, Chairman of the Institute of Objective Studies has expressed deep shock and grief on the death of Dr Ahmad Shah bin Mohammad Noor, head of the office of Scholarship Programme, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Jeddah.

Dr Noor was returning to Delhi from Aligarh when his car met with an accident today.

In a press release, Dr Alam said in Dr Noor’s death the Muslim world had lost an extraordinary educationist. Remembering his old friendship with the deceased, he expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and the IDB. " We pray for his soul and for the wellbeing of his family" , Dr Alam added.
