New Delhi, June 28: The IOS Chairman, Dr. Mohammad Manzoor Alam, has written a letter to President of Turkey, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, congratulating him on the impressive electoral victory of his party and his own victory in the presidential election.

Dr. Alam has written: “This shows that you are the most suitable leader of the times for Turkey, a man who can competently meet the internal and external challenges to the country with courage and confidence. We hope the pace of growth under your leadership will be maintained and further strengthened and Turks as a whole would prosper and freedom of faith, an indicator of democracy, ushered in by you, will expand further without hindering the spirit of pluralism, as is evident so far”.

Dr. Alam has also said that modern development paradigm rests on two major supports – health and education. The Turkish people are naturally healthy and Turkish educational institutions are excellent. However, the country would do well to have more innovation in sciences, technologies and in areas like business and environmental protection.

Dr. Alam has ended the letter with good wishes on his personal behalf as well as on behalf of the IOS.
