ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
INSTITUTE OF OBJECTIVE STUDIES (IOS)
Institute of Objective Studies (IOS) New Delhi, India, is a non-political and not-for-profit, public organisation recognised at the national and international levels for promoting frontline academic research and publishing books and journals on contemporary issues and themes. IOS enjoys consultative status (Roster) with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the UN.
Since its inception in 1986, IOS has been widening the scope of its work by conducting surveys in areas of concern for the state and civil society, awarding scholarships to the meritorious in universities and actively engaging in the fields of social welfare, education and management. IOS is working on development models suited to Indian conditions, particularly for upliftment of the poor, marginalised and deprived sections. It is renowned for its initiatives and interventions to foster world peace and efforts to develop mechanisms and create conditions for conflict resolution. The IOS has always done its best to uphold the ideals of diversity, secularism, democracy, rule of law and constitutionalism. The Institute is known for its work on regional problems and among marginalised sections in different regions of India. It enjoys high credibility and visibility for bringing together a galaxy of social scientists, policy planners and social activists for creating an intellectual movement and network of scholars, community leaders and social activists. The Institute has regional chapters at Aligarh, Calicut, Chennai, Kolkata and Patna.
IOS has signed MoUs with premier institutions of the world like International Islamic University Malaysia, Ibn Khaldun University Bogor, Indonesia, International Islamic Fiqh Academy, Jeddah, KSA etc. besides many Indian universities and research institutes for conducting joint academic research, programmes, translation etc.
IOS has published about 450 books on a range of subjects from economics, politics, technology and culture to development, religion, philosophy and human rights by eminent Indian and international scholars, writers and journalists. The Institute has so far organised more than 1300 programmes—conferences, consultations, seminars, symposia, workshops and discussions at national and international levels in collaboration with well-known universities and organisations in India and abroad.

THE INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC FIQH ACADEMY (IIFA)
The International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) is a universal scholarly organization. It is a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It was established following a resolution at the Third Islamic Summit of the Organization (N.8/3-T/S-I) on 19th-22th Rabi al-Awal 1401H, corresponding to January 25th-28th, 1981. Its headquarter is in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Academy is endowed with a legal personality. Its members are eminent Muslim jurists, scholars, researchers, and intellectuals who specialize in jurisprudential, cultural, educational, scientific, economic, and social fields of knowledge from different parts of the Muslim world. The Academy is entrusted with elucidating the rulings and provisions of Shariah on issues of concern to Muslims around the world, in full independence and based on the Holy Quran and the Noble Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). It also studies contemporary life issues, performing an authentic and effective Ijtihad, aiming at providing solutions stemming from Islamic heritage and open to the developments of Islamic thought.

ABDULHAMID ABU SULAYMAN KULLIYYAH OF ISLAMIC REVEALED KNOWLEDGE AND HUMAN SCIENCES (AASKIRKHS) INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA (“IIUM”)
The Abdul Hamid Abu Sulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences was established in 1990. It is now the largest faculty in the University, with over 6,000 students and some 215 full-time academic staff. Its formation represents a drive to integrate Human Sciences and Revealed Knowledge disciplines, with a vision to be the centre for educational excellence and research in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, along with mission—Integration of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences; Islamization of Human Sciences; Relevantization of Islamic Revealed Knowledge to contemporary issues; Research and innovation in the disciplines of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences.
